SUMMARY : WR has an opportunity for a Program Manager, Principal to be responsible for the coordinated management of interdependent and related projects, and for supporting ongoing operations directed towards a common objective including the achievement of a set of business-related goals.
Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
· Manage and provide programmatic oversight over complex, risky, strategic, and demanding programs.
· Collaborate with Project Managers to monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance of component projects and operations, while working to ensure the ultimate success of the program.
· Manage and balance customer expectations with internal business goals and participates in business planning efforts and alignment of target goals.
· Establish direction for functional team and direct reports.
· Maintain responsibility for all technical and managerial aspects of contract performance, including implementation, technical assistance and program life-cycle support.
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
· Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Computer Science, Math, Management Information Systems (MIS) or Business.
· Fifteen (15)+ years of experience in support of Navy Electronics Systems including:
o Eight (8) years of program management experience to include: Technology Assessments, Systems Design, Systems Analysis, Programmatic Support, Acquisition Planning, and Budget Planning.
o Five (5) years as an In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) for Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT).
· Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense (DoD) procurement policies
· Demonstrated success in managing a contract portfolio in excess of $100M.
· Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Skype.
· Preferred:
o PMP certification.
