Program Manager, Manager Effectiveness

**About the Role**
In this role, you’ll design and enable the implementation of innovative solutions that build manager capabilities and effectiveness at Uber. You’ll use your stakeholder management expertise to build strong partnerships across our teams and businesses. By creating a wide network of support, you will facilitate the exchange of best practices and insights to inform global program content design. You’ll create key success metrics and feedback loops to measure and report on program effectiveness and impact.
This role requires a deep understanding of manager development needs and an ability to translate that understanding into impactful learning experiences. Successful candidates will be passionate about learning and have experience in coaching managers to drive team performance and achieve organizational goals.
**What You'll Do**
- Engage Uber’s People team, HR Leadership, managers, the business, to diagnose learning and development needs across our manager populations at Uber
- Manage multiple fast-paced projects at once and support a global portfolio of programs focused on building universal manager skills
- Build learning solutions, key tools, resources, and processes to support all levels of management
- Cultivate community by designing and offering solutions that help our manager population expand their networks and grow their careers
- Design, develop, and deliver content for virtual or self-paced learning solutions, virtual communities, performance support tools, self-assessments, videos, and curated microlearning
- Work closely with the People Partner team to scale training and enablement related to performance and talent for all managers
- Manage team roadmap for all Manager Effectiveness programs
- Organize and update the team’s Asana board, schedule all team meetings, set communication standards, monitor team Slack channel, and partner on any ad hoc projects or requests.
**Basic Qualifications**
- BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent experience (e.g. training/learning & development, education, HR or recruiting, or consulting)
- 4+ years professional experience within a leading international organization with a fast-paced culture, ambiguity, agility, and complexity.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Proven experience in a global HR, Talent Development, and/or Business Enablement role; providing solutions that support employees in expanding their networks and growing their careers
- High comfort level with navigating through systems and tools to constantly uncover potential operational efficiencies
- Ability to partner with multiple Uber teams across timezones
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to get things done in a highly matrixed and relationship-based organization
- Strong business acumen, data analysis, and reporting skills
- A willingness to learn by doing without requiring step-by-step guidance
- Experience with Project Management platforms (e.g., Asana)
- Experience working in Tech is highly desirable
- ICF Certified Coach
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$103,000 per year - USD$114,500 per year.
