**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to join our UCC Innovation team and lead Acute Care Innovation activities. The successful candidate will manage the innovation funnel for Acute Care, driving cross-functional efforts to identify unmet needs and advance prioritized projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and a proven track record in Biodesign and product development.
**Key Responsibilities:**
_Oversees the Health of the Acute Care Innovation Funnel:_
+ Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-regional teams to identify unmet needs and continuously fill the innovation funnel.
+ Coordinate input for the quarterly refresh of the Acute Care innovation roadmap in close partnership with Marketing, PDL, and Medical Affairs teams.
+ Host monthly platform reviews on innovation to ensure alignment on priorities, provide critical project updates, and share insights.
_Leads Critical Acute Care Projects:_
+ Serve as the project lead for 2-3 critical innovation projects, supporting the team to practice according to the BD Innovation Playbook.
+ Conduct comprehensive transfers of projects to Product Development for seamless implementation in Acute Care.
_Drives Strong Innovation Culture at UCC:_
+ **Training:** Coordinate innovation-related training events to empower UCC’s innovation engine.
+ **Mentorship:** Mentor engineers and cross-functional associates on Biodesign principles and drive a culture of innovation at UCC.
+ **Bring Gemba to UCC:** Conduct field visits and attend conferences to establish a deep understanding of customers, and bring insights back to the UCC business.

**Requirements:**
+ BA/BS required, advanced degree in Science or Engineering; commercial or clinical experience is a bonus.
+ 4+ years' of program or management in a medical device or regulated industry required
+ Extensive training in Biodesign, Design Thinking, or Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) required
**Qualifications:**
+ Experience in innovation or creative product development processes.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives.
+ Demonstrated ability to develop deep, rigorous analytical analysis that drives growth opportunity identification, strategy development, or technology/product decision-making.
+ Demonstrated ability to independently identify, prioritize, and successfully advocate for opportunities to drive growth.
