Program Manager, Global Services

The Global Service Transformation Team is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Program Manager who will be responsible for leading programs and projects across an array of continuous improvement, infrastructure and new product development, customer experience, acquisition integration, and capability creation initiatives in Hologic’s Service Operations department. S/He will partner with leaders and teams across Field, Technical, and Engineering Services, Service Supply Chain, R&D, IT, Marketing, and others to provide direction, support, and project management expertise to deliver key business efforts across Global Service Operations.

This role will be a crucial part of the Global Service Transformation team as we continue to build a standardized and streamlined approach to Global Service Operations project delivery while creating a single methodology to communicate strategic initiative progress, outcomes, and effectiveness in a variety of forums. The role is highly dynamic, requiring strong engagement and leadership skills, with the ability to oversee and execute on multiple areas of work simultaneously. The role is expected to develop long-term strategic relationships with a wide array of stakeholders across Hologic in a highly collaborative manner. Success will depend on effectively influencing and negotiating across businesses and regions to drive alignment on objectives, clear paths to execution, and the delivery of measured outcomes. The ideal candidate will be able to quickly connect business problems, opportunity statements, and current Global Service Operations capabilities & challenges while utilizing industry standard project management principles to achieve effective business outcomes and measurable ROI across the enterprise. S/He is self-motivated, positive, energetic, and possesses strong business savvy with a creative problem-solving mindset.

What To Expect:

Lead discussions of requirements/opportunities with business partners and propose optimized solutions in alignment with Service Operations capabilities while ensuring the effectiveness of plan, cost implications, scalability, and quality of solution. Lead large (often multi-project, multi-site) cross-functional teams effectively; provide input to functional managers on team and team member performance. Evaluate business functions and processes, analyze new requirements, identify areas of opportunity (use cases), drive design and delivery of innovative solutions. Identify project scope; coordinate with management or others to identify goals, time frame, budget, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources.  Develop project plans including but not limited to goals, strategy, staffing, risk identification, budget, resourcing, analysis of development alternatives, where applicable, and communicate with the team.  Manage key initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing processes within Service while building team ownership and commitment to project plan; mentor and/or coach other functional and project managers.  Partner across the enterprise to achieve successful outcomes for Hologic while influencing changes in behaviors or outdated processes when necessary, foster a continuous improvement mindset. Exercise critical judgment and experiences in selecting the right methods, tools, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results meeting business objectives. Influence stakeholders and cross-functional teams to determine acceptable solutions meeting the company’s objectives while managing effective communication.  Work closely with counterparts across functions to implement best practices, guidelines, policies, and project lifecycle requirements in delivering the solution. Work with Senior management to develop and prioritize high impact improvement strategies and act as a liaison between people, process, and technology.  Partner with Finance to create and establish sustained operational cost and effectiveness models to support project delivery within the Service Operations network. Responsible for team and cross-functional communications; liaison between the team and stakeholders; lead phase and business reviews, project meeting minutes, issues log, metrics, and other key communications.  Develop and evaluate staffing plans; monitor schedules and workflows; set priorities, allocate tasks, and coordinate team members across functions to meet targets and milestones.  Assign duties and monitor quality of work; assure staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations.  Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight of co-workers; actively work to promote and recognize performance.  Keep up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.  Has the independence and authority to perform required tasks to ensure all provisions of the quality system are met.

Able to facilitate group discussions.  Experience working with ERP systems, Relational & non-structural databases, ML/AI, BI solutions, IoT, Cloud, and / or Salesforce systems. Knowledge of project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.  Commitment to excellence and high standards. Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), automation and system testing aspects.

Experience

Minimum of 10+ years of professional work experience required. Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience with project/program management required. Relevant work experience including but not limited to process improvement, lean thinking, and innovation thinking preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree required. PMP or PgMP certification is a plus.

Additional Details

Must be able to travel as required by the needs of the role (15 - 20%).

The annualized base salary range for this role is $107,600 to $168,300 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
