Amazon’s Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team is looking for a creative, innovative, results-orientated Program Manager based in Seattle, WA or Arlington, VA. The role will envision, build and deliver a Global Commute program that offers a daily, flexible and dynamic suite of options that provide frictionless, convenient and reliable access to the workplace for Amazonians, whilst aligning to The Climate Pledge, Amazon’s commitment to reach net-zero carbon by 2040.
GREF’s Commute program sets a vision where Amazon commute journeys are made by active, sustainable and shared transport, when possible. Reaching this goal will require policy change, frictionless alternatives, investment and wide-scale change management to shift behaviors to more sustainable commute methods. The global program establishes decision frameworks, playbooks, measurement pathways and tools to deliver a globally consistent customer experience.
The optimal candidate is an experienced, vibrant, and engaging professional who will excel within an entrepreneurial culture – providing vision, leadership, and communication – not afraid to dive deep into details. They should also understand the nuance of being approachable, while at the same time consultative – providing direction/recommendations to our regional teams and fostering transparent relationships. The candidate must be able to balance frugality with creativity in offering solutions and approach problem-solving with an emphasis on root cause.
This role requires global travel approximately 5-10% of the time.

You have a proven track-record, expertise, and passion for sustainable transportation.

•Identify, implement and report on continuous improvement program initiatives, leveraging customer insights to drive change. Prioritize deliverables that impact customers, identifying what requires creation, re-engineering or amendment.
•Develop and build globally applicable program performance metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and SLAs that are constantly evolving in line with expected measures of success.
•Partner with stakeholders to deploy future program pilots that allow for swift and frugal program changes in response to customer needs.
•Drive consistency and quality through scalable and detailed guidelines and playbooks.
•Routinely connect to external industry, professional bodies and communities, assessing new industry standards, best practices, current/future technology and innovations are adopted into the program.
