Job DescriptionAs a part of our continued growth, our Greater Toronto Area Water group has an outstanding opportunity for a Deputy Program Manager to act as key project leader in conjunction with the Project Manager in the delivery of major municipal water programs. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in managing large infrastructure projects and programs (>$1B in construction value) including the design and construction phases of municipal infrastructure, preferably in the Greater Toronto Area. You will work in a team environment with intermediate and senior engineers to deliver advanced water and wastewater treatment projects to our client base in the GTA. This position can be based out of our Markham or Mississauga office.

Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical or related field12+years of experience in the management of programs exceeding $500M, including 4 years of leadershipDriver’s license in good standing
Preferred Qualifications :
Registration or ability to obtain professional registration with a provisional Engineering AssociationExperience managing $1B programsSolid technical skills in one of the practice areas of water/wastewater or municipal/industrial infrastructure, developed within a professional services environment, ideally with consulting engineering experienceExceptional client care and service delivery skills.Experience in working with geographically dispersed project teams that have successfully delivered major design projects within budget and on scheduleExperience leading and developing multi discipline project teams that may reside in multiple offices and in multiple countriesProven project management skills including PM certifications.Knowledge of alternative delivery models including DB, PDB, DBFOM, Alliance and other collaborative delivery models.Keen business acumen coupled with strong business development experienceAdditional InformationAbout AECOM
