i3 has a Summer 2025 internship opportunity for a Program Finance Intern to be located at our Corporate Office in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

The Intern will provide support to the Program Finance staff performing duties to include:

Auditing employee travel voucher submissions and setting up labor categories and rates in accounting systems.Acts as a liaison between operations and other administrative support organizations on financial issues. Interfaces with subcontractors, vendors and customers as required.Administrative duties such as resume input into preferred format, labor hour input into vendor system, and travel cost research for expense authorizations.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Candidate must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate level degree program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field at an accredited college/university during (Summer 2025) or continuing an undergraduate or graduate degree program the following semester (Fall 2025) at the time of the internship.Must have the ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required to fill this requirement.Must possess strong analytic skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and able to comprehend verbal instructions.Must be a hardworking team player with the ability to multi-task, handle multiple deadlines, and self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.Strong working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office tools is required.
