The Program Director is responsible for overseeing a vibrant and growing 24/7 community residence providing temporary housing, short-term case management and vocational assessments to men in recovery with a history of substance abuse and are currently homeless.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversees the day-to-day operations of the programDirects the work of senior staff responsible for counseling, clinical support services and operationsResponsible for improving person-centered services and harm reduction treatment outcomesDevelops, updates and ensures adherence to all policies and procedures governing the operation of the programDevelops and monitors annual goals and objectives for the program and monitors progress throughout the yearConducts staff meetings, case conferences and community meetingsSubmits all OASAS, organizational and external reports as required by funding sources and provides other data and correspondences as directedEnsures program is sufficiently staffed 24/7On call 24/7 to attend to emergenciesParticipates in all training sessions and meetings as requiredMaintains relationships with community providers to support residents in positive treatment outcomesPerform other related duties as assigned Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s DegreeMust be an OASAS Qualified Health Professional Minimum of 2 years supervisory/managerial experience in a substance abuse treatment setting practicing harm reductionMinimum of 5 years experience in the field of human services, substance abuse or social workThorough understanding of person-centered services, harm reduction and medication assisted treatment

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Master’s Degree in a related field1-2 years managerial experience in a substance use treatment setting Company Overview
