Job Summary

Program Director is responsible for managing the overall operations and functioning of a city contracted prevention program that services a population of children families who are at risk for placement. Director oversees that the program complies with contract obligations and is the primary liason to the funding source and HSVS's executive management, support services, and other programs.Will supervise the Clinical Supervisors, will develop and facilitate weekly staffing meetings and case consultations.Will be able to support the team in learning and utilizing the SBC model with all families.

About the Program

Family Support program uses the Solution Based Casework model to partner with families to develop an Action plan to find solutions to their identified concerns. Program Director is responsible for referrals and assigning cases, approving closings when goals are attained, provide supervision to the Clinical Supervisors and support staff. Director will ensure that the program uses a trauma informed approach and oversees that the site meets all standards of operation.

Job Responsibilities

Participates in in-service trainings and on-site workshops as required for professional growth and development. Attends external trainings and workshops at direction of management. Represents the organization both within and outside of the work environment in a manner that promotes the mission, vision and values of the agency. Personally adheres to organizational mission, vision and values, in addition to all other agency policies and procedures.Supports the learning and utilization of the SBC model. Ensures that all staff are completing the mandatory trainings and acknowledging all agency policies. Approves timecards; develops professional development and assists with assessing and evaluating all staff. This includes the use of progressive discipline.Ensuring that paperwork is on time; reviewing data and addressing any trends observed, maintaining utilization and targets set by funding source. Strong verbal and written communication; relationship building and handling crises when needed.
