We are seeking a Program Director to join our property team in the New York City office.

Typically works on a major program/project for corporate real estate clients leading delivery efforts or managing a delivery team. Typically manages 5-10 staff and provides leadership, direction and guidance to managers and staff within their area of responsibility. Responsible for achieving business growth, quality, client satisfaction, and project profitability goals and objectives for the area of responsibility.

How will you contribute to the team?

Represents the project team as client liaison. Acts as lead interface with client and related project team members and develops full understanding of the scope of projects. Understands client expectations, requirements, requested deliverables and fee structure.Typically works on a site or oversees major client programs, managing Faithful+Gould program delivery teams. Organizes, coordinates and manages required staff resources to complete deliverables.Drives major programs/clients and differentiates AtkinsRéalis through excellent delivery of programs/services.Works with Operations Directors in support of the delivery of programs and services. Works with Technical Directors in support of the delivery of programs, services and specific audits.Wins work through effective program management.Develops and implements business development plans and activities.Reviews program/project financials including monthly PSR updates and identification of any potential issues to VP/SVP for review and action.Manages the strategic aspects of programs and mitigates risks.Ensures QA/QC reviews occur, and procedures are followed for all assigned programs/projects.Develops and implements strategic program objectives in support of office and region initiatives.Provides senior level general project management support as necessary (e.g., financial/operational budgeting, consolidation, analysis, forecasting; business development; pricing; billing; key client/consultant relationship management).Performs such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

What will you contribute?

Bachelor’s degree in construction, Quantity Surveying or a related field, plus fifteen years relevant experience.Professional registration in field of practice is required, if available, e.g., LEED, AACE, PMI.Must have significant experience leading and delivering projects and programs for corporate real estate clients.Must have the ability to manage multi projects or a very large single project.Must be highly articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and strong decision-making abilities.Must have experience managing a program or project of at least $1 million and have the ability to manage multi-discipline projects or a very large single project. Must have the ability to develop and implement systems to monitor service and production for major clients.  Must have the ability to organize information and data to anticipate/identify major trends, problems and obstacles.Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.

Expected compensation range is between $130,000 - $217,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.

Upon acceptance of an offer, all candidates must go through a drug screen test and background check. AtkinsRéalis is a federal contractor which mandates a satisfactory background screening report and drug test that supersedes state laws.
