PROGRAM COORDINATOR
TITLE: Program Coordinator AREA: Strategic Unit PILAR : Social Pillar REPORTS TO: Social Development Manager STATUS :  Full time - Hourly  Full time - Salary  Part Time - Hourly CLASIFICATION (FLSA):  Exempt  Non-Exempt GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Coordinate the Men and Children as Allies Program, using research-based, behaviorally oriented strategies to foster male allyship, to educate and reduce domestic violence. Ensures compliance of all procedures, policies, program indicators, and quality services, as well as collecting, monitoring, and reporting grant outcome and results data. Assess the impact of the program on the participants and evaluates the program using different measurement tools and methods to ensure quality standards. TASKS AND DETAILED WORK ACTIVITIES: + Coordinate, supervise and oversee the project implementation to meet the goals, objectives, and commitments with the sponsor agency. + Organize, attend and participate in the Advisory board Committee meetings and promote active participation of members. + Guarantee, monitor and document the compliance of the work plan, programmatic framework, budgets and expenditures of the project. + Design and execute programmatic evaluations and make recommendations of adjustments necessary to ensure compliance with the project. + Write all protocols, policies and procedures related to the Program and the documents to evidence implementation. + Undertake project tasks as required, document and following up on important actions and determining project changes. + Supervise the implementation of the Program in participating Clubs conducting monitoring and site visits to ensure the programmatic fidelity of the project. + Make alliances with agencies and other organizations to promote program and to coordinate services for participating youth. + Ensure the compliance and satisfaction of sponsoring agency and promote the managed towards the project fulfillment. + Write internal communications, documents, programmatic and fiscal report to the sponsor agency. + Coordinate program trainings and participate in the program design and methodologies, measurement systems and other protocols necessary for project implementation. + 1Represent the organization in meetings, conferences and activities related to the project in Puerto Rico and the United States. + Help build positive relations within the team and external parties to establish collaborative agreements with other organizations, public and private agencies. + Perform any other task requested by the supervisor. EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: + Bachelor’s degree in areas of Criminal Justice, Education, Social Work, and/or Psychology. + Experience managing social, behavioral, emotional or prevention programs. Also, experience implementing and managing evidence-based programs and working with federal funds and regulations. + English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. + Communication Skills - Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Ability to communicate information in speaking so others will understand. Ability to identify and understand the speech at any hierarchical level. + Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. + Monitoring — Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action. + Planning & Execution - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, and coordination of people and resources. Knowledge in preparing and maintaining records and reports such as proposals, budgets etc. Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work. + Complex Problem Solving & Critical Thinking — Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Also, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. + Systems Analysis & Evaluation — Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes. Also, identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT: + Standing or sitting, speaking or listening are regularly required. Also, the ability to use common office equipment such as computers, printers, facsimiles, calculators and other office supplies. Is required to drive motor vehicles.
