Essential Duties + Performing custodial duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, removing trash, vacuuming, lawn maintenance, and maintaining facility equipment systems + Maintaining maintenance records, safety documents, and basic reports + Maintaining inventory of janitorial and maintenance supplies, and corresponding Safety Data Sheets + Setting up facilities and arranging rooms for classes, rentals, and events + Assisting with general questions and concerns regarding event, rental, and facility maintenance and repair of historic and cultural sites + Assisting with clerical duties, such as answering phone calls, processing registration fees, completing and reviewing rental and program documents + Assisting with fiduciary duties, such as budgeting, cash handling, and the daily issuance of receipts and balances + Overseeing work performed by inmates, volunteers, part-time, and seasonal employees + Providing hospitality services to the public during events, including meeting, greeting, serving food + Ensuring the safety of patrons and staff, while maintaining the integrity of a historic site Grade The grade for this position is B212. Salary will be dependent on education and experience. Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.
