Program Analyst (Action Officer)
Job Title: Program Analyst (Action Officer) Location: Redstone Arsenal Position Type: Full-Time Travel Requirements: Less than 10% of the time Position Summary: + Serve as an action officer, supporting the Army by proactively addressing needs and issues, using sound judgment and initiative. + Collaborate with a dynamic, high-performing team to assist government clients effectively. + Leverage understanding of executive styles, operations, and authorities. + Requires hybrid or onsite work. + Track critical milestones and actions for team and management. + Prioritize tasks based on risk, urgency, and organizational impact. + Review policies, directives, and regulations, creating Comment Response Matrixes as needed. + Respond to official requests using ETMS2. + Communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats, ensuring concise and timely presentation of information. + Develop Command Policy for official staffing processes. + Monitor program status, delivering updates to leadership. + Draft and edit reports, briefs, correspondence, and other documents. + Provide guidance and leadership to junior team members. + Engage with clients, government representatives, and private-sector executives. + Track report trends and escalate findings as needed, coordinating with team members to meet deadlines. + Support documentation for projects managed by Project or Program Managers, including logs, action items, RFIs, meeting agendas, and minutes. Required Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. + 7-10 years of relevant experience. + Active Secret clearance. + Proficiency in MS Office applications. + Ability to manage multiple projects and track milestones in a fast-paced setting. + Demonstrated stakeholder and relationship management skills. + Strong organizational and communication skills for collaboration across technical and non-technical teams. Preferred Qualifications: + Master’s Degree. + One or more years as a PMO Analyst in a technology setting, with project governance certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile). + Advanced knowledge of desktop applications for word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. + Familiarity with APMS, eMASS, and ETMS2.
