Professional Staff Nurse – Multiple Units

The minimum rate of pay for a non-BSN Professional Staff Nurse is $31.60/hour.

The unit(s) you are most interested in will be discussed at the time of interview scheduling.  All positions will support our Main Campus location in the Lawrenceville neighborhood in the city of Pittsburgh. 

These positions will work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities:

Demonstrates accountability for professional development that improves the quality of professional practice and the quality of patient care. Applies the nursing process within the framework of Relationship Based Care to create a healing environment. Demonstrates knowledge of adult learning principles (and/or teaching children if applicable) and applies in teaching of patients, families, students and new staff. Actively participates in department or unit-specific quality improvement efforts. Develops and maintains productive working relationships internally and externally by demonstrating accountability for actions. enthusiasm, motivation, and commitment to patients and colleagues.
