Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

As part of your role, you will be responsible for ensuring quality nursing care. You will also be required to assess and identify client/patient needs, plan and implement nursing care plans according to identified needs and deliver nursing care according to the patient’s health needs.

Your responsibilities will also include:

Assess and identify client or patient needsPlan and implement nursing care plan according to identified needsAssess the 'fitness for duty' of team members and take any subsequent necessary actionEngage in physical safety checks, interventions and coachingEnsure accurate record keeping

QualificationsDiploma or Degree in Nursing ScienceDispensing licence (essential)Primary Health Care Diploma (advantageous)Experience in good clinical practice

Experience:

At least 2 years’ experience as a Primary Healthcare Nurse within the mining or industrial environmentComputer literateQMed experience would be advantageous

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of nursing processes, procedures and techniques and a good understanding of the health care policiesUnderstanding of safety management, behavioural safety and risk management framework, procedures and systemsGood understanding of the related health care policies and proceduresCommunication skills (written and verbal) and report writing skills Willing & able to work overtime / be on standby as per operational requirementsValid driver’s licenseCertificate of Fitness
