Foth is currently seeking a team-focused and results-oriented Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) who has a desire to contribute to our clients’ success by teaming with technical leaders in designing innovative solutions for complex multi-faceted geospatial projects across our three divisions: Infrastructure, Environment, and Production Solutions. As a PLS, you will utilize your technical knowledge for mentoring and educating engineers, scientists, and other geospatial specialists throughout Foth on the continually evolving application of technical advancements in your field.  This position will be working out of our Franklin, WI office location.  Primary Responsibilities: Provide technical geospatial and project management skills as a lead surveyorCoordinate scheduling with local survey personnel and with other Foth offices as neededPerform equipment installations and conduct tests requiring selection and/or adaptation or modification of equipment or testing proceduresComplete description writing, interpretation and layout for a variety of surveys including easement, property, ALTA, site, topographic, construction staking, etc.Perform right-of-way platting including, but not limited to, research, horizontal and vertical control, preparing base maps, computing existing R/W, parcel lines, permanent and temporary easements, and writing descriptions for purchasing of R/W and easementsPrepare legal descriptionsPerform boundary/control surveying and mappingMaintain and operate instruments, measuring devices and other field equipmentAssist in 3D laser scanning effortsRequired Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent education and experience7+ years of survey experienceWI DOT experience with ROW Platting and TPP PlattingProfessional Land Surveyor License in WisconsinPreferred Qualifications: Experience with the following Trimble technology: Business Center-Data Management Software, Robotic Total Stations W/Vision SoftwareWhy Foth: Established Reputation: With over 86 years of experience, we are proud to be 100% member-owned.Dynamic Culture: Benefit from a values-based, client-centered, and flexible work environment, with ample professional growth opportunities and supportive colleagues, contributing to our impressive 92+% member retention rate.Challenging Projects: Engage in diverse and exciting projects that promote continuous professional growth and development.
