Research Analyst – Silicon Valley & Mid-Peninsula

The Research Analyst will join the JLL Research team in the Bay Area region to build and continue to elevate a best-in-class research program that differentiates JLL.

You will have primary responsibility for collecting and analyzing data, maintaining and constantly elevating the quality of our data, and working with the Research team to present data in a compelling way. The Research Analyst will assist in tracking and analyzing all aspects of the local commercial real estate market, economic drivers and demographics and will leverage that knowledge proactively for research products, client projects and business development efforts. Successful candidates are passionate about what drives their city, economics and commercial real estate.

What this job involves

Collect and audit commercial real estate and economic data, including data on properties, leases, tenants, availabilities, developments, sales and ownersFollow established processes to ensure data excellence within our database, and regularly audit and refine datasetsAnalyze market data to identify trends and understand economic and real estate market driversPresent market insights and conditions as needed to internal teams and clientsCreate compelling visualizations and provide meaningful insights on local market data, trends and driversDevelop strong relationships with internal and external clients and facilitate the use of our technology toolsDemonstrate our tools and research capabilities to internal teams and clientsDevelop and share best practice standards
