We are interested in speaking with candidates up to Senior level about a position in our Manchester team. This role is seconded to Amazon Robotics (AR)Tech Integration Group.

  

Role Purpose 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Management professional, up to Senior level, with a background in Engineering, to join our Manchester Project Management team. 

The successful candidate will have site-based project delivery experience and planning skills. A good acumen for measuring, gathering and analysing data for operational robotic floor environments, which feed into a variety of user groups. Managing key relationships, providing a significant contribution to Amazon Robotics, as well as supporting the direction of future robotic floor health programmes. This is a high visibility and impact role and requires extensive travel between UK and EU Amazon facilities.
 
You will be reporting directly to Amazon Robotic Program Lead, with a capacity to run multiple AR floor data measuring projects from your first day. As such, you must demonstrate experience on field-based projects as well as the ability to build strong relationships. You will also have the opportunity to work on floor health initiatives, with existing JLL Amazon team. This is a professional, dynamic group who pride themselves on their approach and willingness to support for the benefit of ourselves and the client. The success experienced, to date, has been a result of hard work whilst building excellent relationships. 
 
The ideal candidate will have a technical background with post-qualification experience. APM and CEng qualifications will be considered when combined with the exposure to e-commerce new build projects. 
 
As expected of a modern team you would be provided with the latest IT equipment, remote working capability and continued innovation of new products and software to increase our service and productivity. 

What this job involves 

Planned Robotic floor inspection, data recording, assisting numerous AR floor R&D programmes, investigation current issues reported and analysing test data.Day to day delivery of AR floor health check inspection for Robotic platforms.Assist with AR floor compliance, critical review of data gathering, client reporting.Develop project documentation, assist with repair programmes, risk schedules for floor health during peak periods.Produce client reports to suit all stages of AR floor health projects. Manage client relationships throughout the project cycle. New work initiatives.

Ideally or similarly related Project Management qualification A strong background in the delivery of project data for robotic warehouses Proven in managing and developing client relationships Enthusiastic proactive and self-motivated Excellent verbal, numerical and report/proposal writing skills Excellent time management and general organisational skills Flexible and have the ability to work under pressure Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Project and Outlook Must be well presented and have excellent communication skills Willing to become part of a dynamic and supportive project management team
