Production Worker
**Job Title: Production Worker** **Job Description** As a General Laborer, you will assemble parts, load and offload paint line parts, and use small power tools such as drills, electric screwdrivers, and staple guns. You will help with cleaning, mopping, organizing, and moving small parts on wheeled carts. You must be able to read a tape measure using 1/16" and 1/32" increments and perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. A high school diploma or GED, or 3 months of related experience and/or training is required. You must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs. **Hard Skills** + Assemble parts + Load/offload paint line parts + Use small power tools (drills, electric screwdrivers, staple guns) + Read tape measure (1/16" and 1/32" increments) + Basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals) **Soft Skills** + Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos + Write simple correspondence + Present information effectively in 1-1 and small group situations **Job Type** This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Altamont, Illinois. **Work Environment** Traditional manufacturing shop environment with up to 100 employees. The workspace is clean and organized, with moderate noise levels and potential exposure to fumes or airborne particles. The structure is broken down into 'cells' and assembled in sections. You will work the first shift from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime based on the season, but never exceeding 11:00 AM on a weekend. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
