Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to support production process definition to ensure optimization of cost, quality, and on-time delivery of product. Each day, you will participate in the sequence definition, cycle time calculation, and analysis of the working phases of new production processes/products. You will also showcase your expertise by sharing cycle time data with internal teams.The work model for the role is: onsite This role is contributing to the Power Protection product group in Napier. Main stakeholders are Warehouse, Planning & Fulfillment, Production test, Quality, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering.You will be mainly accountable for:•Preparing technical documentation regarding the process phases, related methods, and cycle times.•Supporting production during start-ups by training indirect and direct staff.•Ensuring that updated process and technical documentation are provided to Supply Chain Management teams to support supplier evaluations and proper supplier agreements.•Participating in the definition of action plans, training of relevant Maintenance and Production teams, and other support activities during the internal/external process and equipment start-up.Our team dynamics:You will join a dynamic, multi-skilled, cross-disciplinary and diverse team, where you will have the opportunity to thrive.
Qualifications for the roleYou have a working knowledge in Lean Six Sigma methodologies or a strong willingness to learn.You have a passion for production process analysis and improvement, with 3+ years of experience in industrial engineering.Highly adept in using SAP or similar MRP systemsYou are passionate about continuous improvement and collaboration.Qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.You are at ease communicating in English.
