**POSITION SUMMARY** Efficiently handle the transfer of raw materials, intermediates and finished products throughout the plant. Provide a resource for general work requirements throughout the plant. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** + Accumulate and dispose of debris in the general plant area using whatever tools or equipment are required such as hoses, steam genie, shovels, etc. + Perform all aspects of “warehouse operator” position and general warehouse functions which include hand-palletizing 50 lb. bags, stenciling/labeling, stretch-wrapping, loading trucks. + Perform all aspects of the “process pumper” and the “loader/unloader” pumping positions. + Perform routine pumping of catch basins. + Perform routine pumping, sampling and analyses as required in the effluent treatment system. + Assist production and maintenance departments when manpower is required. + Maintain a safe operational environment by following all safety rules and regulations. + Maintain good housekeeping in the work area. + Hours/Shift: 5:45 am to 6 pm, 5:45 pm to 6 am, Overtime + Schedule: 2-3-2 schedule, 12-hour day and overnight shifts. Weekend availability + Job Type: Full-time, Union job + Work Indoors: 25% / Work Outdoors: 75% **Education & Experience:** **Education** + H.S. Diploma or GED – must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally. **Experience** + Minimum of one (1) year of experience with manufacturing background and working with hazardous chemicals. + Forklift experience preferred, but not required. **Pay and Benefits** The starting rate for this position is $29.53/hour.
