**Job Title: Production Support Tech** **Job Description** This entry-level position is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a strong willingness to learn. The Production Support Tech will assist several departments on the manufacturing floor and contribute to various projects, including an upcoming expansion. The role requires the ability to follow demonstrated directions, with all training provided on-the-job. The candidate will perform a variety of production duties such as tending to machines, handling products, visual sorting, packing, and using pallet jacks to move materials within the work area. **Responsibilities** + Tend to machines and handle products. + Perform visual sorting, packing, and other operations learnable on the job. + Use pallet jacks to move materials in the work area. + Operate overhead and jib cranes, as well as lift machinery such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read print drawings. + Basic math skills. + Ability to use common hand tools. + Ability to operate assembly machines. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Knowledge of welding, plumbing, and hydraulics is a plus. + Attention to detail and good organizational skills. + Ability to follow verbal instructions. + Able to work independently. + High School diploma or equivalent. + 1 year of experience in a similar position. + Mechanical assembly, power tools, production, overhead crane, forklift, scissor lift, boom lift, sorting, packing, pallet jack, manufacturing. + Tech school education. + Experience with hand/power tools, industrial assembly, blueprint reading, and hydraulics. + Willingness to travel and possibly stay overnight at a customer site. **Why Work Here?** We offer good benefits upon permanent employment, regular overtime availability, profit sharing, bonuses, and provide uniforms along with financial support for boot purchases. **Work Environment** The work environment is a clean and organized shop/manufacturing setting.
