YOUR ROLE The Production Team Lead is responsible for executing production in the safest and most efficient manner possible for the manufacturing of products in a quality standard that meets or exceeds our customers’ expectations reporting to the Supervisor. Provides departmental direction and run the shift in the absence of supervisor and optimize the use of equipment, the process and resources. To lead and train the team under the guidance of the supervisor and ensure safe working by the team. The team lead will be the second in command to the production supervisor and assume production supervisors' responsibility when needed. YOUR SKILLS Planning, Leading, Organizing and control skills. Stock control / MRP processes. Assertiveness and decision-making Skills. Conflict resolution skills. Be a team player and lead others Monitor and optimize process parameters Optimization of use of equipment.  Practice EHS requirements and ensure all relevant procedures are followed.  Identify, control and enforce correct PPE requirements and usage Perform troubleshooting in the plant Maintains a professional, team-player attitude, Human Resource Management and Leadership skills. Tactical and analytical problem solving. Production planning and scheduling Driving production key performance indicators such as OEE, SA & CCDB Education and Qualifications: National Diploma (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial & Chemistry) FET Level N4
