About the role
This entry-level position responds to system management alerts to handle system/operations exceptions, within the assigned enterprise systems of product offerings. This position is also responsible for business batch processing and change management support.

Responsibilities:
Provide prompt recovery and problem escalation for the exceptions, extrapolating and integrating information within defined boundaries, using multiple system management and problem management toolsWork closely with development groups, support groups, and vendors to coordinate special operations, and communicate/escalate problems as appropriate to meet assigned deadlines. Provide analytical support for the development and enhancement of system interfaces, and may develop or enhance those tools under high-level technical direction from more-senior staff. Assist in daily support of the systems/products assigned, through early detection and pursuit or changes in system responses or operation. Work closely with support groups to refine system monitoring and reporting, and to assist them in their analysis and problem recovery. Provide prompt, clear, and timely communications; log, coordinate, and communicate problems using standard problem management and escalation procedures. Service requests including proper management, creation, execution, documentation, and closure of tasks, changes, and requests.Requirements:
Have experience and knowledge of the Problem Management escalation processShow knowledge of using analytics to identify problems and suggested ideas for resolutionHave good verbal and written communication skills and be able to produce clear, concise technical documentationHave good Change Management skills and an understanding of the change request processHave good experience with batch processing and be able to perform recovery actionsHave the ability and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and innovationsHave experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze, troubleshoot, and solve complex problemsHave great knowledge in multiplatform environments, including UNIX_LINUX, Mainframe, VMS, and Windows ServerWork in a way that works for you
