Position: The Production Support position is key to assisting our Production team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Prepare and pack shades for shipping, including required hardwareProcess shipments online and track shipping inquiriesAct as backup to shipping departmentReceive incoming shipments, both domestic and internationalSign for shipmentsUnpack and verify packing list informationDistribute items to departmentsKeep inventory of shipping and packaging materialsNotify purchasing when inventory is lowMonitor and keep inventory of certain key components for Production teamPull items from inventory and distribute as requested by the Production teamAssist with motor assemblyResponsible for prototype shadesMiscellaneous administrative duties as required from time to timeForklift certification preferredClean driving recordSupervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of US money, measuring tape, and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Benefits and Compensation
The starting rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance; 401K with immediate 100% employer vested matching; discretionary tuition reimbursement, medical and child-care flexible spending reimbursement plan; ten vacation days accrued the first through the fourth year and increases to 15 days after the fourth year and continues to increase with length of employment; discretionary annual bonus; and more!
