Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a Production Supervisor at ABB Oy, System Drives division in Helsinki, Pitäjänmäki. In this role you will be responsible for supervising production team in engineer-to-order product assembly, and continuous improvement of production processes.As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily assembly line operations, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. You will manage, train, and motivate a team, enforce safety protocols, and implement quality control measures. Additionally, you will troubleshoot issues, maintain production records, and promote and support continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate closely with production planners, engineers, and various stakeholders.The work model for the role is: #LI-onsiteYou will be mainly accountable for:•\tSupervising production line's assembly team •\tFacilitating continuous improvement and safety in production line•\tEnsuring timely delivery of quality products by efficient resource management and elimination of process disturbances•\tLeading the daily work of highly skilled assembly team and following up production KPI´s (safety, quality, OTD, productivity)•\tEnsuring that we reach set development targets with a positive attitude

Qualifications for the role

A few years of supervisor experience is essentialAbility to demonstrate your knowledge of production and logistics processesAdvanced organizing skills and a development-oriented mindset with a hands-on working attitude is relevantUnderstanding of Lean principles and basic quality management methods is essentialThe ability to motivate your team through a positive attitude is relevantYou are at ease communicating in Finnish and English, both written and spokenGood MS Office skills. Experience with production SAP or in another ERP systemB.Sc. degree in electrical engineering, industrial management or in a related field
