Coordinates the operations of all production departments in the unit. Ensures that production meets the goals of product quality, cost effectiveness, safe conditions, and customer satisfaction. Reports issues regarding production, quality, maintenance, or personnel problems.Western Enterprises, now part of the Marmon family, has been around for over 60 years. What You'll Do:
Oversee and coordinate production and assembly activities.
Collaborate with production control, Order Processing, safety, and purchasing teams.
Ensure safety procedures are followed.
Provide direction and training per department manager’s instructions.
Manage personnel and activities in respective areas of responsibility.
Implement productivity improvements, such as cycle time and cost-cutting measures.
Maintain professional relationships with colleagues and other departments.
What You'll Need:
Knowledge of manufacturing operations, assembly, materials, quality programs, and safety programs.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead by example.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
3+ years of leadership experience preferred.
