Our client, a dynamic manufacturing company, is looking for a Production Supervisor to join their team in Montebello, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling production processes to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing, closely collaborating with various departments to ensure raw materials are available and production runs smoothly. Your primary focus will be balancing customer service needs with the plant's productivity to optimize production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed production specification sheets according to customer orders.Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.Create and adjust production schedules based on capacity, ensuring minimal waste and preventing overstock.Monitor the progress of production schedules and report any delays to Customer Service and Management.Analyze reports and determine inventory stocking levels to fulfill customer orders.Accurately receive completed production orders into P21 system daily.Generate weekly production status reports and support critical decision-making with production data.Resolve production issues and discrepancies in a timely manner.Collaborate with Plant Manager, Product Manager, Purchasing, and Customer Service to meet objectives and address challenges.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (3-5 years of related experience may substitute education).Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to read and interpret documents and spreadsheets.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks independently.Ability to solve problems efficiently and manage production discrepancies.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with team members.Manufacturing, distribution, or warehousing experience is a plus.
