**Production Supervisor** **Pay: $80,000+ salaried** **Shift: TBD** **Job Description** Aerotek is looking for a strong candidate to join a dynamic team as a Production Supervisor! You'll lead and coordinate all shift activities to boost productivity and cut costs while ensuring top-notch safety and quality. Coach your team to excel in safety, production, quality, and housekeeping. Collaborate with the Scheduler to meet daily goals, and handle supervisory tasks like planning, performance appraisals, and problem resolution. Keep accurate daily production records and drive quality initiatives to achieve plant goals. Ensure a safe work environment and comply with SQF and GMP practices for safe food packaging. **Responsibilities** + **Lead and Coordinate Production Shift Activities:** Oversee all aspects of the production shift, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues that arise. + **Boost Productivity and Reduce Costs:** Implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency while minimizing costs, without compromising on safety and quality standards. + **Team Coaching and Development:** Mentor and guide the production team, fostering a culture of accountability for safety, production, quality, equipment maintenance, and housekeeping. + **Collaborate with Scheduler:** Work closely with the Scheduler to ensure that daily production targets are met, adjusting plans as necessary to accommodate changes in demand or resources. + **Supervise and Direct Work:** Plan, assign, and oversee the work of the production team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. + **Performance Appraisal and Problem Resolution:** Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and address any complaints or issues that arise within the team. + **Accurate Data Reporting:** Ensure that all production data is accurately collected, recorded, and reported on a daily basis to track performance and identify areas for improvement. + **Drive Quality Initiatives:** Support and enhance quality control measures and initiatives to meet and exceed plant goals, ensuring products meet the highest standards. + **Ensure Safety Compliance:** Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and practices, and ensuring the department meets all plant safety goals. + **Adhere to SQF and GMP Practices:** In applicable locations, comply with Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure safe food packaging, and report any food safety issues to the appropriate authorities. **Essential Skills** + High School diploma or equivalent. + 3+ years of manufacturing experience. + Proficient in MS Office. + Excellent communication skills. + Self-directed and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. + Flexible schedule during key business deadlines. + Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
