We have an opportunity for a 3rd shift Production Supervisor to join our Commercial Ice team in Manitowoc, WI. This business is a global leader in commercial ice machines used in multiple settings including healthcare, academic, commercial, and/or business and industrial settings. You will be responsible for leading and providing direction to an organization driven by on-time delivery, with consideration to all safety & quality procedures, policies and instructions. You will primarily work Sunday – Friday from 10:00 pm – 6:00 am.
You will:
Manage training and scheduling, oversee quality issues, resolve routine operating problems and supervise a team of 3rd shift hourly union employees. Drive a culture of continuous improvement by involving employees in problem solving and decision making, as well as recognizing them for exceptional work. Recommend and implement changes regarding production capability, tooling, and machine replacement and staffing to support production plans and cost-effective procedures, systems, etc.Lead the implementation of safety initiatives, develop and maintain a safe work environment, and identify and implement solutions to safety issues as they arise.Mentor and guide employees on the floor, providing hands-on support and fostering growth through continuous feedback and coaching.Key Qualifications:
Have earned an associate’s (A.A. or A.S.) degree and have 2 years of manufacturing/production supervision experience OR Have 5 years of manufacturing/production supervision experience.Previous experience supervising in a union environment is a plus.Have leadership ability to include effective communication, listening skills, providing constructive feedback, effective stress management, building technical competence, building effective relationships with peer and supervisors, setting goals, and holding teams accountable.Mechanical aptitude, motivated self-starter, and an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Compensation:
For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $61,200 - $113,600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as annual incentive bonus.
