Job Title: Production Superintendent – North West – Mining
Location: North West, South Africa
Hire Resolve’s Client are currently seeking a talented and experienced Production Superintendent to oversee and manage all aspects of production operations at their mining site in the North West region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient production of minerals while maintaining high levels of productivity and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
– Plan, organize, and coordinate all production activities at the mining site
– Monitor and control production schedules to meet targets and minimize downtime
– Oversee the implementation of production plans and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
– Provide leadership and direction to production teams to achieve production goals
– Collaborate with other departments to optimize processes and enhance overall performance
– Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs
– Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to employees
– Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review
– Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related field
– Minimum of 7 years of experience in PGM Flotation in the mining industry
– Strong technical knowledge and understanding of mining operations
– Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset
– Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
– Proficiency in MS Office and mining software applications
