A vacancy has arisen for a Production Specialist at Irvine plant, reporting direct to the Forming Manager.
Based on an annual contract of 1686 hours, with flexibility in daily working hours determined by job change activity, the position is a non-overtime staff position and affords an excellent career opportunity for anyone with the determination and capability to succeed.
Responsibilities:
Develop procedures to analyse production issues. Plan and prepare production job changes. Manage job change from start to finish. Liaise with quality during and after job changes. Develop people management skills. Identify and lead improvement projects. Involvement in sustainable improvement and community projects.
Required skills / qualifications:
Educated to Degree level or equivalent. Knowledge of manufacturing processes. Analysis and interpretative skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills, including technical data. Personal drive I.T. Skills (knowledge of Microsoft Office) Excellent standard of numeracy and literacy skills. Have an awareness of relevant Health & Safety and Hygiene Regulations. Have commitment to Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and Continuous Improvement.
