McGraw Hill has an immediate opening for a detail-oriented and strategic Production Specialist to support 9-12 Health. The Production Specialist is responsible for establishing trust with cross-functional partners, ensure on-time delivery, drive communication, identify risks and issues relevant to Build activities. This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States. This is a Project Status Worker (PSW) role with an end date of August 31, 2027. What you will be doing: Create and manage agile project planning documents and other artifacts including Jira cards for composition, digital delivery, reprints, translations, assessment and other activities as assigned Lead agile project ceremonies and meetings including vendors and project resources Work with vendors to ensure definition of work is realistic, understood, and executed on time Identify and manage risks and issues with vendor and working team, escalating as needed Document and manage action items for follow-through Document and assess implications of changes and decisions regarding scope and budget Assign vendors based on scope with support from manager Ensure quality checks are performed as defined by Production Center of Excellence Utilize and oversee usage of production and delivery systems like Jira, InDesign, K4, Habitat, and other digital delivery Collaborate with vendors and project stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery, drive communication, identify risks and issues relevant to production activities Align delivery dates to project milestones, as defined by project team and manager We are looking for someone with… Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 1-5 years total work experience Strong written and oral communication skills Acute attention to details Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Experience using Microsoft office tools and project management tools like Jira and smartsheet.com Familiarity with project management framework and methodologies especially Agile Why work for us? The pay range for this position is between $50,000-$55,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
