As a Production Scheduler II here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the production schedule to meet customer demand and ensure on-time delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, forecast demand, and create a feasible production plan. Your role will be crucial in maintaining an efficient and effective production process.
You will report directly to our Senior Production Scheduling Manager and you'll work out of our site in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
In this role, you will impact the production process by ensuring that materials and resources are available when needed, minimizing downtime, and maximizing productivity. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve any scheduling conflicts and make adjustments as necessary to meet changing demand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create and maintain the production schedule based on customer demand and available resources
• Analyze production data and trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize the schedule
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and resolve any scheduling conflicts
• Monitor and track production progress, identifying and addressing any delays or issues
• Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Continuously improve the production scheduling process to increase efficiency and reduce costs

The annual base salary range for\nthis position is $65,000- $81,000. Please note that this salary information\nserves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when\nextending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities\nof the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key\nskills, as well as market and business considerations.
This role is an on-site position in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Some relocation assistance is available.
YOU MUST HAVE
\n\n2+ years of experience in production scheduling or related field\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nProficiency in using production planning software and tools (SAP/RapidResponse)\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills\nIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel\n\nWE VALUE
\n\nBachelor's degree or combination of previous experience in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field\nExperience in a manufacturing or production environment\n Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles\nAPICS certification is a plus\n\n
