PRODUCTION SCHEDULER
Summary You will serve as a PRODUCTION SCHEDULER in the Technical Support Branch (TRF-305), Repair Department (TRF-300), TRIDENT Refit Facility (TRIREFFAC), Kings Bay, Georgia of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY. Responsibilities You will be responsible for providing services and support for the accomplishment of SSBN, SSGN, and visiting submarine hull, mechanical, and electrical systems and equipment repair associated with HM and E operations. You will be responsible for work packaging, refit scheduling, test direction, production control, and development and sustainment of data tracking analysis and reporting. You will be responsible for developing, distributing, updating, and maintaining production scheduling and management products for TRIDENT SSBN, SSGN and other supported platforms. You will be responsible for using advanced techniques with Microsoft Suite, Visual Basic and user level expertise with TRIDENT Refit Facility software applications and productions software applications. You will be responsible for performing work that involves principles and methods used to develop solutions in project management, data management, reporting products and presentations. You will be responsible for serving as the lead scheduler on large projects accomplished by the maintenance activity. You will be responsible for serving as the senior Production Scheduler and subject matter expert. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience scheduling and implementing quick turnaround repair, replenishment, and system checkout of the TRIDENT SSBN, SSGN, SSN, and other supported platforms maintenance actions involving hull, mechanical, and electrical, HM&E, electronic, preservation, and temporary services. Experience applying advanced techniques using Microsoft Suite including Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server, Visual Basic and other programming and data management applications to develop solutions in project management, data management, reporting, and presentations. Experience testing functionality of new software programs to ensure the consistency with organizational mission. Experience researching and recommending software programs to purchase for the organization based upon technical and functional requirements. Experience applying a structured systems analysis approach to the development of projects and anticipating future business requirements so that database operations are optimized to increase performance.
