Position Overview International is seeking a Production Planner Senior to join our team at our Assembly Plant in San Antonio, Texas. The Production Planner Senior plans, coordinates and performs manufacturing setup of new products through the production process. Coordinates and executes activities to ensure materials are provided according to production requirements. Schedule- Monday-Thursday 5:30am-4:00pm Responsibilities Works with multi-functional teams to understand future process requirements and setup part routing updates. Facilitates and coordinates activities with multi-disciplinary Engineering teams to support and execute product changes and new introductions. Support pilot builds in hands on activities to ensure successful builds. As needed, develop, document, and maintain records, including but not limited to Standard Work Instructions, Build Books, Visual aids, etc. Participate in corrective actions related to internal or external defects in pilot builds. Performs and executes training plans and capture and follow up all issues identified in the implementation process. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree At least 2 years of production control/planning and/or customer service experience OR Master’s degree OR At least 4 years of production control/planning and/or customer service experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status) Desired Skills Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles Experience with manufacturing equipment installations and tooling setup, systems integration and automation processes Previous experience in Automotive / Truck manufacturing industry or any other high volume manufacturing world class industries Experience with PFMEA and Design for Manufacturability Experience with CAD software such as: NX, AutoCAD, Solid Works, etc. is a plus. Experience in Excel, PowerPoint and other MS office applications as well as PBi Excellent written and oral communication skills. Detail oriented Strong work habits focusing on safety, quality, and productivity. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Predisposed to instill and share a zero-defect mentality. Hands-on experience using hand and power tools.
