Summary: The Production Planner will plan and schedule orders for configured products through various printing and packing workflows. The incumbent is responsible for optimizing labor and equipment utilization while maintaining an elevated level of customer service in a make-to-order environment. This role will also interface cross-functionally across to ensure effective communication, prioritization ad appropriate insights occurs for these custom orders. Scheduling product lines across global vendors.
Responsibilities:
Plan schedule, coordinate and manage capacity constrained material and production flows all Custom warehouses and vendors, to drive the successful execution of daily production requirements that meet or exceed our on-time excellence standards. Maintain, develop, and execute processes across production, customer service (order entry), digitizing, and the warehouse to manage the business in an efficient manner to serve the marketplace effectively. Communicate production load status to Production Control Manager/Supervisor and other stakeholders as needed. Troubleshoot systemic and other manufacturing order issues. Aid in maintaining production model parameters and testing new software releases/fixes. Coordinate between warehouse and raw material planning on material shortages. Notify Sales of any scheduling impacts to customers. Maintain production planning documentation. Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Operations is ideal with a Bachelor Degree a must. Minimum of 3 years experience in an analytical role preferably in the consumer goods industry (Golf or Equipment a plus) Very strong Microsoft Office & analytical skills; Strong working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)concepts and best practices. Knowledge of ERP (Lawson Infor M3 / Cognos SAP preferred) principles, practices and procedures preferred. Advanced skill set in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint); SQL & Qlik a strong plus.
