Your Role: What You’ll Be Doing
As a Production Planner, you’ll play a key role in balancing customer service excellence, resource optimization, and inventory management. Your responsibilities will include:
• Maintaining product master data and production recipes in SAP.
• Evaluating demand vs. capacity, collaborating with the Master Planner, Operations, and Raw Material Procurement teams to ensure smooth production.
• Implementing and supporting planning tools such as APO-PPDS and Oflow.
• Issuing and managing detailed production schedules, ensuring alignment with business strategies (cost, rate, inventory, and uptime).
• Proactively identifying and resolving inventory, supply chain, and quality issues before they impact production.
• Communicating production challenges, supply changes, and risk mitigation plans with key stakeholders.
• Coordinating with manufacturing and maintenance teams to optimize plant scheduling.
• Driving continuous improvement in planning processes and tools as a regional superuser.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
✔ Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or production planning.
✔ Skills & Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of supply planning and inventory management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP, APO, and MRP systems.
• Excellent English communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to drive continuous improvement.
✔ Preferred Certifications (a plus!):
• APICS Module I (Basics of Supply Chain Management).
• Six Sigma certification.
