We are looking for a Production Optimization Engineer to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of production at our Additives manufacturing plant in Savannah, GA. The role involves analyzing, modeling, and implementing improvements across planning, scheduling, and execution workflows to optimize production capacity, profitability, and operational agility. A key focus will be leading the transition to a modern, digitally integrated system that supports advanced manufacturing processes and enables real-time, data-driven decision-making on the factory floor.


The role:


As a Production Optimization Engineer, you will help drive our goals by:
•    Lead the implementation of the Manufacturing Digitization Programme to enhance data integration, visualization, and planning capabilities.
•    Support the transition to integrated planning and scheduling tools (e.g., Orchestrate) to improve production agility and efficiency.
•    Integrate SAP-PM, OEE, and real-time data to optimize asset monitoring and production execution.
•    Analyze production processes to identify inefficiencies and develop targeted improvement roadmaps.
•    Contribute to capital project planning by supporting business cases for asset and process upgrades.
•    Collaborate across functions to resolve production issues, drive continuous improvement, and institutionalize operational knowledge.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
•    Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, preferably within chemical or catalyst manufacturing.
•    Proven experience in project management and successful project delivery.
•    Strong background in continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
•    Working knowledge of SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
