They will start off as a machine assistant, standing at the end of a machine collecting cardboard. This is a very fast-paced environment where some machines produce 400 boxes per minute. The role involves grabbing a stack of boxes at a time, inspecting them using a tape measure, helping in different areas, and constantly moving and lifting. During slow periods, operators need to stay motivated and find tasks like sweeping. They will also work in the baler room, picking up excess materials from each station and placing them in the baler room. **Responsibilities** + Assist with machine operations on the production floor. + Collect and inspect cardboard boxes at the end of the machine. + Maintain a fast pace to keep up with machines producing 400 boxes per minute. + Help in various areas as needed and stay constantly moving and lifting. + Find productive tasks during slow periods, such as sweeping. + Work in the baler room, collecting excess materials and placing them in the baler. **Essential Skills** + 1+ year of production or manufacturing experience. + Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly. + Proficiency in reading a tape measure to the 1/8 of an inch. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience running gluer machines. **Why Work Here?** Once hired, candidates are eligible for a $1-$2 raise.
