Production Operations Manager

Description:You will be the Production Operations Manager for the Lower Tier Integrated Air and Missile Defense (LTIAMD) Evolutionary Development (EvDev) and Transition to Production (T2P) Team. Our team is responsible for managing operational activities to integrate newly designed hardware into PAC-3 missile and launcher production lines, ensuring seamless transitions and meeting full-rate production requirements.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Production Operations Manager, you will oversee day-to-day activities, leading and motivating the team to ensure development programs meet requirements on time, with producible hardware designs and competitive costs. You will develop creative solutions, coach the team, and collaborate with various disciplines to drive success.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading cross-functional teams to integrate hardware into production lines
• Collaborating with design engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other disciplines
• Developing manufacturing plans, assessing readiness, and creating proposals
• Presenting at design and manufacturing reviews, and working with government customers
• Analyzing and resolving technical and process issues

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
• Prior team leadership experience or project
leadership experience
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
• Experience with SAP MRP
• Demonstrated effective communication skills
including verbal, listening, technical writing and
presentations
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve
technical/process issues varying from basic to
very complex
• Ability to interpret drawings, electrical
schematics, wiring diagrams,
product/performance specifications and other
systems integration technical data
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint etc.)
• Ability to travel domestic and/or international
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills,
including team building, collaboration and
developing enduring business relationships
Desired Skills:
• Bachelors or higher degree in technical or operations discipline
(electrical engineering, mechanical engineering,
chemical engineering, etc.)
• Experience in design for manufacturing or
design to cost
• Ability to effectively present technical
information to non-technical people
• Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
• Experience working with Government customers
Control Account Management experience
• Experience with Lockheed Martin manufacturing
and assembly processes
• Experience with LTIAMD development programs
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
