This company, a leader in producing high-quality pre-rolls, flower packaging, and white-label fulfillment, is seeking a driven individual to lead their production team and ensure operational excellence.

Position Summary:

As the Production Manager, you will oversee daily manufacturing operations, optimize workflow efficiency, and ensure strict compliance with North Carolina hemp industry regulations. You will lead a team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure production targets are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Oversight & Workflow Management:Manage daily production activities to ensure efficient workflow and order completion.Monitor production processes to maintain product quality and identify areas for improvement.Plan and manage production schedules to meet demand.Collaborate with the Project Manager for material and scheduling coordination.Process Optimization & Metrics:Track and analyze KPIs to improve output rates, labor efficiency, and reduce waste.Implement process improvements and develop/update SOPs.Team Leadership & Employee Support:Supervise, mentor, and train production associates and supervisors.Foster a positive work environment and ensure adherence to safety protocols.Inventory & Materials Management:Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement to address supply needs.Compliance & Safety:Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and promote a safety-first culture.

Work Experience

Required:

Experience in hemp, cannabis, or consumer goods manufacturing, particularly pre-roll and flower packaging.Strong knowledge of machine operation for automated joint/blunt packing and labeling.Proven leadership in managing production teams.Experience with production scheduling, workflow optimization, and quality control.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in SOP development, batch tracking and regulatory documentation.

Preferred (but not required):

Experience with process automation and operational scaling.Familiarity with GMPs, OSHA safety standards, and regulatory compliance.Knowledge of inventory control and supply chain management.

Working Conditions:
