The Head of Production is responsible for managing the Mount Vernon Production department and relevant staff ensuring that the Production department is fully operational and implemented within the local Quality Assurance System in compliance with local, regional and corporate requirements as well as with the national legislation.
This role will initially be based at the PETNET Mount Vernon site with regular travel to the new Dunstable site. The role will be based at the Dunstable site as the new site nears completion.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
Manage the Mount Vernon Production department, ensuring compliance with quality assurance systems, local regulations, and corporate requirements. Represent the Production department in site management meetings and contribute to local projects. Develop and enhance the skills of Production operators to achieve high performance. Collaborate with PETNET International Management on shared projects or tasks. Oversee production, storage, and quality control of all products, including approval of instructions and adherence to procedures. Monitor and approve outsourced production activities and report incidents to regional QA/RA department. Maintain and validate production facilities and equipment, perform bioburden programs, and conduct investigations and root cause analysis for deviations and complaints. Your qualifications and experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in pharmaceutical production. Background in radiochemistry or related scientific field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to customer service. Knowledge of radiochemical processes, PET radiopharmaceuticals, and the EA licensing process. Familiarity with drafting SOPs and understanding of the business landscape, including competitors.Benefits:
