Production Manager: Large Format Digital Printing

 

Riot Creative Imaging is seeking a strong manager. If you have a background in large format digital color printing, then this might be a job for you. The RIOT Floor Manager will be responsible for managing all phases of manufacturing, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all jobs. This includes everything from scheduling, project reviews with Account teams, quality control, pre-press, delivery, installation, and financial review. The manager will be responsible for supervising the production team during all project phases from kickoff to production and job completion. The manager must coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure all projects are delivered on time and to client specifications. Excellent communication and customer service must always be the highest priority. As the RIOT Manager, you will report to the regional director.

Job Responsibilities 

Manage project workflow from start to completion.Supervise production staff and assign job tasks as required.Assist production staff when needed to complete projects on time.Communicate daily with the estimating and sales teams.Establish a consultative approach with clients and sales.Build strong relationships with vendors, installers, and business partners. Manage inventory and complete purchase requests.Manage, coach and cross train all personnel.Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems.Monitor the production process and maintain daily production records.Analyze information and evaluate results, develop strategies to improve the process.Oversee estimating team and coordinate project installations.Maintain industry knowledge of material costs and competitive pricing.Maintain a good working environment with high employee morale.Manage work schedule to ensure projects are completed on time.Enforce company safety protocols.Resolve conflicts and settle disputes among employees.Daily RIOT meeting with production staff.

 

Experience

Minimum (3-5) years’ experience in large format print production management or supervisory roleMust have complete working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Onyx RIP, Outlook, and Microsoft Suite.Solid working knowledge of large format printing equipment, finishing processes, and materials.Excellent written and oral communication skills. GED Required

 

 

 

 

Floor/Project Manager

 

Job Summary:

Run and manage the entire Color Department ensuring systems, procedures and initiatives are being completed as instructed including all phases of manufacturing, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all jobs. This includes everything from Production Staff meetings, scheduling, estimating assistance, project reviews with account teams, quality control, delivery, installation and financial follow-through. The Floor Project Manager will work with internal teams and vendors to ensure all projects are delivered on time and to client specifications. The Production Manager will foster a spirit of cooperation within all departments and between colleagues to ensure all orders and estimates are delivered on time and to requested specifications. As the representative of this position, you will report to the regional manager.                                                                                                                                             

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Direct and coordinate production and distribution of all work originating in the wide format departmentManage, coach and cross train all personnel Strengthen relations with sales team and operationsAbility to read and work with abstract designs, elevation plans or blueprintsReview operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve IT problemsAnalyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution to solve problemsDevelop specific goals to prioritize, organize, and accomplish daily workResolve conflicts, handle complaints and settle disputes among employeesDevelop and implement production tracking and quality control systemsPrepare and maintain production reports and employee recordsCoordinate and recommend procedures for facility and equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machinesCoordinate inventory and consignment cost control programsInstitute employee suggestion or involvementContinue to establish a great work environment with high employee moraleLocal management meetings Overtime approvalResponsible for Open Order Report Monthly open order sign-offPurchasing and receiving Receive all orders and PO’s in MFG within 48 hours and document those not receivedReport any and all workplace accidentsResponsible for interactions between employees and documentationOccasional late night and/or weekend workOther duties apply
