Job Title: Production Manager

Hire Resolves client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join their team as a Production Manager in Killarney Gardens, Cape Town.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of the production process, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities Manage a team of production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations Ensure that production targets and quality standards are met Monitor and analyse production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure that production goals align with company objectives Develop and implement production processes and procedures to maximise efficiency and minimise waste Maintain a safe and clean production environment in compliance with all regulations and company policies Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and maintenance

Requirements:

National Diploma or Degree qualification in Production Management or similar, advantageous if supplemented by formalised operational training in terms of applied production techniques. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a food manufacturing environment – with a minimum of 2 years experience in a management role. Proven knowledge and experience with equipment, process flow, and line commissioning – aligned with requirements to maintain quality, throughput, and effectiveness.
