Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure efficient and cost-effective production results. Each day, you will be responsible to meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets through the coordination and management of plant equipment, personnel, and production processes (quantity, quality, budgeted costs, and proper productivity level). You will also showcase your expertise by developing programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations.The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Distribution Solution division at Nashik, India.You will be mainly accountable for:• Preparing annual production budget, overseeing progress, and determining actions to cost issues as necessary to manage operations within the budget and resources.• Developing and executing plans to reduce non-value-added costs, increase revenues, and delight customers by delivering products on time with high factory and supplier yields and decreasing product field failure rates.• Ensuring that Four Quadrants (4Q) program training and methods are implemented in the organization.• Providing support as required, during customer visits to explain the capabilities of the manufacturing facilities.Our team dynamicsYou will join a high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the roleYou are immersed in Production function in Switchgear industry You have 12 to 15 years of experience in Production Planning, Production Scheduling, Capacity Planning, resource optimization, from a Switchgear (GIS) industry background You have hands on experience in Production / QA / Warehouse / Logistics / Procurement / Planning Possess an enhanced knowledge of Gas insulated switchgear, Fabrications, wiring and switchgear assembly. You are passionate about Continues Improvement Culture (Lean Six Sigma, 6S and Kaizen) Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering (should be full-time) You are at ease communicating in English
