Overview

We are seeking a suitable Production Manager to join our client in the Food Production industry. The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of production within a manufacturing or production facility. This includes planning and organizing production schedules, monitoring production processes to ensure efficiency and quality, and managing a team of production staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and streamline operations Manage and motivate a team of production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations Ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications Coordinate with other departments such as procurement, logistics, and maintenance to ensure smooth production operations Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment Implement safety protocols and measures to ensure a safe working environment for production staff Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of production activities

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field Trade test would be beneficial Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies Experience with production planning and scheduling software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
