Our client in the Temple, TX area is looking to hire a Production Lead for their location. The Production Line Lead will oversee production line efficiency ensure product quality, and maintain compliance with safety and manufacturing standards. The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills, mechanical aptitude, and a strong commitment to maintaining an organized and efficient work environment.

The Day-to-Day:

Ensure production lines start on time and operate efficiently to meet production targets.Assist with line and area clearance, including the removal of previous products, components, and foreign materials.Perform and document inspections, quality checks, tests, and product sampling throughout the production process.Verify proper staging of materials and remove Work in Progress (WIP) License Plate Numbers (LPNs) as used.Enforce safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and Safe Quality Food (SQF) protocols.Provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to employees and temporary workers as needed.Participate in the annual review process, provide performance feedback, and assist in employee training.Support disciplinary actions in coordination with the Supervisor or Plant Manager.Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the shift.Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure seamless production operations.Work independently with minimal supervision while identifying and resolving production issues.

Qualifications:

High School DiplomaBilingual in English and Spanish is preferredAbility to lead a team and follow directions effectively.Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.Mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management.Forklift operation experience or willingness to learn.Experience in product assembly is required.

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$20.00 to $28.00 /hr(based on experience)Monday to Friday3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
