Shift: 5am-1pm O.T expected
Pay: $18
 

Primary Job Functions: 

Installs rule on complex rotary and flat cutting dies. Bolt’s rotary to ruling cylinder using air wrench or places flat board on ruling table. Selects proper size of rule to cut, perforate or score. Bends, notches, and installs cutting and creasing rule onto rotary and flat die boards according to the work order. Solders and welds rule joints together when needed. Install embossing letters according to the work order and customer specifications. Record all time and materials used for each job.

Other Job Functions:

Performs all job duties safely and in accordance with the company quality guidelines. Performs general housekeeping to keep area clean. Any other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

High school graduate or equivalent. Understands what is required for rule installation and cutting die construction. Understands the difference between the “inside” and “outside” view on drawings. Basic computer skills. Able to use hand, power and pneumatic tools effectively and safely. Able to read and understand job order instructions. Able to perform mathematical calculations including fractions and geometry accurately. Able to interact with all levels of employees and customers professionally. 

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift to 50 lbs. Able to lift awkward shaped and large packages.
