ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for someone who is motivated and passionate Production Coordinator to join our Cotton On team on a 6-month fixed term contract. You will be responsible for the production management of our Swim & Intimates categories to ensure the best quality, price, fit, finish and delivery are achieved, every time. In conjunction with the Production Manager, this role will play a major part in executing flexibility and speed to market, implementing supplier strategies and sourcing the latest trends, techniques and fabrics from the supply chain as a support function to our Cotton On Brands Product team. Successful Production Coordinators thrive by understanding diverse inputs, solving dynamic challenges, and influencing through relationships to deliver customer-obsessed products. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Degree / qualification in relevant field i.e. Fashion, Textiles, Production
• Demonstrated experience in a similar Production role or Product Development
• Experience working with accessories is highly regarded
• Extensive experience working directly with offshore suppliers, while implementing cost effective production strategies
• Proven experience working with fabric consolidation programs, product development requirements, shipping requirements, and trading terms and production timelines.
• Experience in FOB (Freight on Board) negotiations, order placement, capacity planning, open costing within the supply base.
• Experience in day-to-day production problem solving, issue prevention management and strategic production planning.
